The parent company, is known for the highest quality craftsmanship handed down from generation to generation.  Founder Charles Schmidt and son Bruce Schmidt work side by side to create the finest custom furniture and antique restorations. Their work is known throughout the country. As the company expanded so did their product line. All of you have been touched by their products almost on a daily basis, from their custom furniture designs, their custom line of wooden clocks, custom exterior signs, to the simplest of things like auto-coin holders which were invented and still manufactured in our Barrington shop .

Our custom wood signs can be seen throughout the area as you travel down the highway. We have produced many of the fine sand-blasted wood signs for subdivisions, villages and cities, stores and shops around the country, and many individual signs for our private customers that want to enhance their homes. Our signs are made of the finest selected redwoods so they last for generations, unlike the next day sign shop signs which only have a life of a few years at best.
